Two butterflies and a grasshopper

In Uncategorized on May 20, 2012 at 12:07 pm

I have two butterflies for you today. I made this card yesterday and decided to take the photos of it outside. It was sunny and warm. While I was lying in the grass taking the photos of my card, suddenly a little cute grasshopper jumped on the card and decided to take a walk around it. I am thankful that he did not leave any marks.😉

Inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge I dressed the paper in a transparent and light fabric, using blue and orange color for the butterflies. I made a couple of die cuts and layered them in the center of my card so the card is just right for the Cas-ual Fridays Challenge.

So, that is it for today. Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Wow your butterflies are so amazingly vibrant and the sheer fabric perfect. I have been thinking along the same lines, but could’t possibly top yours!! Oh and the die cut the butterflies are perched is perfect!

  2. I just adore the dimension and rich colours of the butterflies…beautiful card.
